The full-bend blank structure has three features. First, the core material is made of high-strength carbon solid Tuftec ∞. By adopting a hybrid design in which the outer layer of the core material is wrapped around with a lightweight cavon sheet, it can be finished even thinner and lighter than conventional full solid. And high-power X full solid, which strengthens the outermost layer in an X shape with carbon tape, is used to improve screw rigidity. Conventional full solids are aggregates of longitudinal fibers, and there are few oblique fibers that suppress screwing. As a result, it is easy to twist, and there is an unpleasant feeling such as blurring, power loss, and squeaking. The solution to these weaknesses is the high-power X full solid.
In terms of actual fishing, we cover various techniques from root fish aiming and slow invitations near the bottom to fast jerks that explore a wide area in the middle layer. After a hit, it not only exhibits the tenacity peculiar to full solid to catch fish, but also has the advantage of being able to deal with large fish with spare power by making it easier to stand the rod and stabilizing the fighting posture. When you have this rod in your hands, the concept of a full solid rod will change dramatically.
Features:
X-Guide
Shimano's original guide [X guide] that brings out the original rod performance.
Born from the rod manufacturer's point of view, the X-Guide was created to fully exploit the potential of blanks. This is Shimano's original high-performance guide that combines lightness, troublelessness, and cast performance at a high level.
High Power X Full Solid
While retaining the characteristics of full solids such as thin, well bent, and tenacious, it uses a reinforced structure to suppress screwing. The outermost layer of the blanks is reinforced in an X-shape with carbon tape to greatly reduce blurring and power loss. The unpleasant feeling due to the ease of screwing, which was a common problem with full solids, has been suppressed, and a comfortable rod action has been realized.
Taftec ∞ (Infiniti)
The newly developed Tuftec ∞ achieves 3 times the entrapment strength and 5 times the entrapment amount compared to general solids (compared to our company). It is a high-strength solid tip that surpasses the strong Tuftec α.
CI4
CI4 is a further evolution of Shimano's unique material CI4, which is reinforced by carbon fiber. Compared to conventional resins, it is lighter and has higher strength.
Full Holding Sheet
Support high-precision operation.
The narrowed tip shape and constriction process pursue a fit that sucks and a tireless grip, and adapts to various grip styles such as gripping, placing on the palm, and 2 to 4 fingers. In addition, the lower part of the grip is flattened to improve stability when gripped, supporting high-precision jigging from the hand. In addition, the use of carbon-reinforced material CI4 aims to reduce weight and high sensitivity.
X-Guide 3D Titanium
Shimano's original X guide that brings out the original performance of the rod.
The guide uses Shimano's original X guide and 3D titanium that brings out the original performance of the rod. The guide frame, made of strong and lightweight titanium and created by Shimano's unique cold forging technology, is designed to eliminate steps and edges, and thorough verification of inclination angles drastically reduces line troubles and achieves smooth thread removal. The guide foot is designed to be as short as possible, and the line follows the blanks, resulting in a high sensitivity that clearly transmits beautiful bends and delicate edges.
Flat rear grip
Flat rear grip for increased stability of the armrest jerk
The rear grip adopts a flat design that makes the armrest jerk more comfortable to operate. Excellent elbow rest stability against repetitive up-and-down jerks, which not only increases jerk accuracy but also reduces fatigue and stress. Supports reliable jig action.

Line Up:
B60-1
A technical model that easily conquers the coastal sea.
Compatible jig weight MAX 160g, water depth supports 60m for fast jigs and 100m for slow jigs. In relatively shallow waters, it is suitable for fishing that technically targets a variety of fish species such as bluefish, hairtails, and migratory fish. Although it is the lightest specification in the series, it also has tenacity and supports stable fights with good blues. Compatible reel sizes are 300~1500.
B60-2
Compatible jig weight MAX 200g, water depth supports 80m α for fast jigs and 130m for slow jigs. It is active in jigging the coastal sea, and is attractive for its power, nimble operability and high balance. It has the potential to cope with unexpected good-sized products with plenty of power, and has the potential to capture green fish approaching 10 kg and tuna in the 20 kg class. Compatible reel sizes are 300~1500.
B60-3
A main-axis model that is active in many scenes nationwide.
Compatible jig weight MAX 260g, water depth supports 100m α for fast jigs and 160m α for slow jigs. This model is suitable for capturing areas with fast currents in the nearby sea and green fish aimed at around the shoals. Mainly one-pitch jerks, it captures a wide range from the bottom to the middle layer. The target is expected to be over 10 kg for green fish and over 30 kg for tuna. Compatible reel sizes are 1000~2000.
B60-4
Compatible MAX 330g jig weight, water depth supports 120m α for fast jigs and 200m α for slow jigs High torque blanks assuming tuna jigging aimed at Bluefin and Yellowfin tuna, easy to handle load-heavy do TERRA sinks and fast invitations, and slow invitations can capture water depths of over 200 meters. Even after the hit, you can easily communicate with the stomach fight. The target is expected to be over 15 kg for green fish and 40 kg for tuna. Compatible reel sizes are 1500~3000.
B60-5
The strongest in the series. Heavy specs to face large fish.
Compatible jig weight MAX 400g, water depth supports 150m α for fast jigs and 240m α for slow invitation. The 5 powers, which are the most powerful in the series, are heavy specifications for exploring the middle layers of the open ocean with a mid~high-speed one-pitch jerk and inviting the middle and deep sea to slow down at depths of 200 meters or more. Even so, the burden on the angler is small, and it also has a response for linear jig operation. The target is expected to be over 20 kg for green fish and over 50 kg for tuna. Compatible reel sizes are 2000~4000.
