Spiral X Core
The basic structure of the next generation has evolved by adopting high-strength materials.
Shimano's unique design and manufacturing methods thoroughly pursue even higher strength in all directions, such as bending, screwing, and crushing. Shimano's original basic structure, Spiral X, which enhances rod performance from the core, uses carbon tape using high-strength resin realized by nanoalloy ® technology. We have realized further high strength with selected materials. Compared with the general structure, the screw strength is 1.4 times and the collapse strength is 2.5 times higher (compared to our company). Furthermore, in comparison with Spiral X, we achieved a 10% increase in screw strength and a 15% increase in crushed strength (compared to our company).

Reinforced structure that further suppresses the screws that occur during casting and fighting. It features carbon tape tightening up in an X-shape from the outermost layer of Spiral X or the carbon sheet longitudinal and horizontal crossing structure. This ensures that the bend of the rod preserves the angler's intended orientation and that the original performance of the blanks is fully realized.
